The Launch Ft. Buddhist Punkz, Chasing Athena, The Catchpenny Broadcast

Wednesday 2nd April will see the launch party of The Launch at The Silver Bullet, and lucky attendees will get to party to the incredible sounds of the Buddhist Punkz who will be rocking the stage and the supreme Silver Bullet Martin Audio Sound System for the release of their self-titled EP being dropped on 1st April 2014! Along with Buddhist Punkz headlining, there's an incredible line-up of support acts on the night; Local lads The Catchpenny Broadcast will be reining in the blues in style whilst Yorkshire boys Chasing Athena will be hyping up the crowd with their rocking riffs.

Buddhist Punkz emerged when Marcel Atteen (AKA MC Sirreal) met brothers Dave and Rich Budgen whilst performing with the UK Breakbeat act The Freestylers. They formed an alliance of awesome after enlisting the skills of drummer Jack Cowens (Dub Pistols) - with a common interest in old skool hip hop, rock and metal they soon started talking about the idea of forming their own band in that vein. Fusing together old skool hip-hop with a dash of rock and a sprinkle of metal, and personally describing their sound as "Black Sabbath meets Rage Against The Machine in London Town", their release party at The Launch will be one energetic gig not to miss!
