Kidnapped

Multi-award winning Sell a Door Theatre Company revisit their Scottish roots to present a new adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic novel, Kidnapped. An energetic adventure story for all the family, Kidnapped tells the story of Davie Balfour as he dramatically escapes to the Highlands of Scotland, surviving sword fights, wild storms and shipwreck.
The show blends live and recorded music, puppetry, fast paced movement and an ever-changing set to create an epic adventure tale of friendship and loyalty in times of peril.

Performed by a company of five, the actors utilise a variety of media to transform themselves and their surroundings into a multitude of characters and settings.

This gripping and imaginative re-telling of Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic story is packed full of physical storytelling and imagination.
