In 2000, Dj Healer Selecta pioneered a new type of platform/club night in the triangle of Shoreditch & Bricklane: The Raison D'Etre-Reason2b phenomenon was born, treasuring eclectic vintage music via very popular DJ session and sharing stage experience by giving exposure to talented up and coming UK musicians and artists in the main venues of the capital, Glastonbury Festival, Stoke Newington Fest etc..
To name a few, Noisettes, Charlie Winston, Portico Quartet, Phidel, Natty, Josienne Clarke, Gaby Young, Sam Beer, Mudibu, Jezebel Sextet, Jamie Woon and many many more.


With a lot dedication, hard work and support from legendary pioneers such as, Bo Diddley, Wanda Jackson, Spanky Wilson, Raison d'être became an institution for London's international music lovers and was dubbed by London's press as one of the very best things in the big smoke.
