Courtesy of the Discovery Channel, The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust (DSWT) will be exclusively premiering the heart-warming film 'The Elephant Who Loved Too Much' at a private screening at the Curzon Cinema in Mayfair.

The film shows the heartache, passion and dedication founder of the DSWT, Dame Daphne poured into little orphaned elephant Aisha and illustrates the valuable lessons learned which ensured the survival of over 160 orphaned elephants.

Head Keeper of the Ithumba Elephant Reintegration Unit in Tsavo National Park, Kenya Benjamin Kyalo will be joining the film screening, marking his first ever trip to the UK.

Benjamin has worked with the orphaned elephants at Ithumba for the past 10 years and will be answering your questions in a live Q&A following the performance, sharing his life stories living alongside elephants in the wild expanses of Tsavo National Park.

Join us on this special evening as we celebrate all that has been achieved by Dame Daphne on her 80th birthday and take a look back at where it all began, sharing the loving relationship of baby elephant Aisha with one of the most renowned female conservationists of our time.

*Please note Dame Daphne will not be in attendance on the night as she will be celebrating with her friends and family in Nairobi, Kenya. However, there will be a very special personal message for all those attending on the evening.
