This weekend we're going pond crazy! Grab one of our nets and join our team in a spot of pond dipping. There are loads of mini-beasts living in our ponds for you to discover. For instance, did you know that caddisfly larva build their own ‘outfits’ out of bits of vegetation and gravel? Or that the fearsome dragonfly nymphs are rumoured to be what the monster in Alien was based on? We’ll be using our pond camera to show you up close the mysterious creatures we find under water.

Join us for some games, like our Caddisfly Camouflage Relay Race, or make your own pond themed crafts to take home.
