SOFT RIOT + TERROR BIRD
w/ Ponygirl (Endurance) on the decks

SOFT RIOT
Soft Riot is JJD, a former Vancouverite based out of the UK, using an arsenal of synthesisers, mixers, effects and lighting to fill rooms with sinister, minimalist electronic "pop" songs equally influenced from dystopian film, soundtracks, psychedelia and various types of "wave" music. Soft Riot has released two albums, the first being "No Longer Stranger" on Volar Records and the latest album "Fiction Prediction", released on LP/CD/Cassette/Digital last year on Other Voices/Volar Records. Soft Riot has toured Europe and number of times, including cities as far as Moscow.

This is a warm-up show of sorts for Soft Riot's appearance at this year's Gothic Pogo Party festival in Leipzig

TERROR BIRD
Terror Bird is Canadian self-proclaimed "nu new romantics" artist, re-inventing dark 80s synth pop through Bowie tainted eyes. Nikki Nevver, the resident tortured heart of the project has new releases planned with Svn Sns (France). Terror Bird recently toured the Westcoast of the USA and likes drinking straight whiskey with Night School labelmates Molly Nilsson and Group Rhoda. Nevver has written songs for Berlin band Easter & Carson Cox of Merchandise, and has musically collaborated with members of unhappybirthday, & Sally Dige.

Terror Bird is playing this show as part of a European Tour
