Summer Spirited Sermons

Reverend JW Simpson, Fitzrovia’s famous cocktail expert, is pleased to announce a new summer series of the hugely successful Spirited Sermons. Once again, the Reverend will praise and preach about some of the world’s oldest and fascinating spirits in a new series of cocktail master classes focusing on Summery drinks, unusual ingredients, and innovative takes on classic recipes.

Taking place throughout May, June and August Spirited Sermons will take London’s cocktail enthusiasts and aficionados on a journey that explores Aperitifs, Summer Brandies, Aromatised Wines and Jenever Gin.

Wednesday 4th June 2014 – Summer Brandies
Usually associated with cooking and 90s R n B singers, Brandy is an often overlooked ingredient in summery cocktails. Dino Koletsas, Reverend JW Simpson’s expert in Brandy, will show guests how to make the most of the spirit’s light elements and crisp notes to create refreshing summer drinks. With a focus on fruit brandies, light cognacs and other grape brandies with floral flavours, Dino will demonstrate the delicious pairings of Brandy with berries, citrus fruits and syrups.
