New Contrustivists was formed in 2001 and presented its inaugural exhibition in Cotton’s Atrium which was opened by the writer and environmentalist Colin Tudge. This association of exhibiting artists work with reference to the painters of the old constructivist movement of the early twentieth century and seek to expand the possibilities of a style based on space, form, geometry, and idea.

Previous annual exhibitions were hosted by The Institute of Physics and Regent’s College Knapp Gallery. This is their second exhibition at Lauderdale House. New Constructivists is the only group of artists in the UK to exhibit exclusively Neo Constructivist works.
