Step off Brick Lane into the Kobi Nazrul Centre for the World City Music Village Festival Club.
This event features a reading by award-winning author Romesh Gunesekera from his latest work set in Sri Lanka, 'Noontide Toll'. Infectious, genre-defying Bengali-Cuban rhythms come courtesy of rising stars in world sounds, Lokkhi Terra, recently nominated for the Orange Foundation “Coup de Coeur” prize for vocal performance.
A perfect way to unwind on a summer evening!
The event is free of charge. Light refreshments and soft drinks will be available, also free of charge.
