Join the University of London Symphony Orchestra for our Summer Concert! It will take place Sunday 1st June at 7:30pm, in St Stephen's Church, Gloucester Rd NW7.

We present an exhilarating programme beginning with Verdi's Overture to La Forza del Destino, followed by Respighi's Pines of Rome, an epic tone poem which describes "centuries-old trees" that "become witness to the principal events in Roman life." The evening culminates with Rachmaninoff's final work, the Symphonic Dances, a melange of Russian nostalgia, the grotesque and the macabre.

ULSO welcomes conductor Masayuki Carvalho, who has worked with orchestras all over Europe including the Brandenburg State Orchestra Frankfurt, Jena Philharmonic Orchestra and the Wroclaw Philharmonic Orchestra.

Come along to experience music-making from some of the country's finest young musicians!
