Streatham Food Festival returns with four days of foodie fun for the whole family!

Now in its fifth year, the festival showcases the best of Streatham’s vibrant food scene from 5–8 June 2014. This year sees the return of the Streatham Food Tour and the ever-popular Sunday Food Fair, plus a whole host of other delicious events to tickle the taste buds of festival diners.

Back by popular demand, the Streatham Food Tour invites the public to take a food tour of the world in Streatham over three days, with taster menus available in 29 local restaurants and cuisines ranging from Turkish to Indian, Ghanaian to Thai. With dishes priced at just £2-£5 each, the tour provides the perfect opportunity to try a wide range of foods without breaking the bank.

The Sunday Food Fair also returns to Streatham Green on Sunday 8th June with a fantastic range of food and drink on offer. From Asian street food to boozy ice creams, jerk chicken to artisan cakes, and not forgetting face painting, live music, an interactive art installation, advice on healthy eating and live cooking demos in the demonstration tent. It promises to be a fabulous day of food, fun and community.

The festival line-up also includes Sutton Community Farm’s VegBox Dinner, a Victorian Cooking Class at Streatham Common Community Garden, food growing sessions, advice for parents, a charity cake sale, festival supperclub, BBQs, challenges and more.
