Learn Ghanaian Dance Kpanlogo at the SOAS World Music Summer School 16-20 June. Kpanlogo is the ‘twist and turn dance’ from the Ga people of Ghana, which is performed by youth to demonstrate their youthful exuberance. Kpanlogo is popular due to its musical style, dance movements and its involvement of the audience. This week-long course will introduce the Kpanlogo dance, and the songs, storytelling and drumming associated with it.
