The grunge is dead! Long live the grunge! 2014 marks 20 years since the mainstream strangled the life out of the sludgy, Seattle underground and produced it's final classic, Soundgarden's 'Superunknown'. Released in March 1994, a month before Kurt waved goodbye, Soundgarden were fittingly the first of the scene to sign to a major label and there when grunge's mainstream chapter closed. We'll slice through Sabbath, Pixies, Mudhoney, Temple of the Dog, all the way through to the crooner's classic 'Black Hole Sun'. Bands on the night. Discounts for DMs, none for Nickleback.
