THE BOOT (Mohammad Ali Talebi I Iran 1993 I 59 mins)

Samaneh is a little girl with a brand new pair of red boots. One day she loses one boot. This is the story of her journey to try and find it. Talebi, a collaborator with renowned Iranian filmmaker Abbas Kiarostami, masterfully communicates this charming tale, emotive in its innocence and childlike simplicity. THE BOOT is yet another example of Talebi's unique understanding of the role of children in film.
