Walk Eat Talk Eat run walking tours to show off what’s great and good about London’s food and drink scene– the undiscovered off the beaten track places, the brief history, the people and characters, including and most importantly the stuff that you won’t find in the guidebooks. This Summer they are launching their new Urban Carnivore Tour, focusing on the most exceptional places to find a good piece of meat in the city. These will take place every Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 2pm around the East End of London and will disclose a selection of hidden gems a true carnivore needs to know about.

On the Urban Carnivore tour you will:

• Dine on chicken and chips, but not as you know it. The roast chickens do handstands and are to be enjoyed in a Grade II listed building, while seated underneath a Damien Hirst work of art…

• Then you will swing by a swanky hotel for a taster of their lamb belly sandwich with homemade aioli… before trying out a freshly-made sausage roll from an award-winning pastry chef, which we’ll take for a picnic in an area with a fascinating history

• Finding the next stop you’ll get the time to settle down to a half pint of refreshing cider and sample some sliders in a stylishly shabby pub, while trying brisket made with Dr Pepper, oxtail-chilli cheese dogs and jerk chicken.

• Followed by a mooch down Brick Lane to the next stop, where you’ll get stuck in to some ten-hour slow roast pork, from arguably one of the best street food vendors in East London…

• ….before wrapping up at Spitalfields Market with a final dollop of history, close to lots of bars and pubs where we will warmly suggest you stick around for a drink or two..
