Come along to the Mayor of London’s Eid Festival, a free celebration on Saturday 2 August in Trafalgar Square. There’ll be a food festival where you can sample a host of delicious global cuisines, live music performances and fun activities for children including face-painting, henna, calligraphy and sports. Eid-al-Fitr is celebrated by Muslim communities worldwide and marks the end of Ramadan, the holy month of fasting.
