In 2005, a suited man washed up on the Kent coast with no recollection of where he came from, how he got there and who he was.
He could not speak. No one could recognise him. But he could play Tchaikovsky...
Inspired by real-life events, AllthePigs discover the story behind ‘The Piano Man’ Andreas Grassl. Silent for four months, the world speculated his identity - from the doctors who helped him heal, to the press who vilified him as a fraud and to the countless people worldwide who claimed to know him.
When his silence ended, that’s when his troubles really started.
