Dirty Dancing is the first 2014 movie in our annual summer film series run in conjunction with Nomad Cinema.
Nobody puts Baby in the corner. In the summer of ’63, Baby is stuck at the Catskills, with her parents. At a class on merengue dancing and wig demonstration she meets Johnny Castle, the resort’s suave dance instructor. With Johnny’s help, Baby falls under the spell of Rhythm n blues, and learns the steps to a whole new dance…this is the film that caused the whole world to go Swayze Crazy!
