Karine Jackson Pop Up Salon & Complimentary Gin Bar

Organic colour specialist Karine Jackson is bringing a one-day pop up salon to Covent Garden’s Seven Dials on Saturday 16th August, alongside the perfect al fresco accompaniment – a complimentary gin bar!

From 5pm – 9pm anyone can sit down, be pampered and receive the perfect 5-minute hairstyle or fringe trim, for a fraction of the usual salon price. Relax with a gin cocktail while award-winner Karine and her team tends to your tresses in a luxurious and tranquil outdoor setting – think twinkling fairy lights and scented candles…

Fringe trims, on-trend top knots and super quick up-dos are just some of the services on offer, and everyone that visits will receive a gorgeous goody bag full of treats to keep their hair looking party perfect even after they leave. This year why not try out the fringe of the season for just £5; the Dentelé (as seen on Suki Waterhouse) is effectively two fringes in one incorporating a shorter, choppy fringe with longer pieces spliced in between to give the hair volume, body, texture and shape. Or for just £10 you can have your hair expertly curled or styled by Karine and her team of stylists – perfect for those heading out that evening.

Consultations with Karine, the unofficial queen of hair colouring, are also available to anyone who stops by. She will be on hand dishing out styling tips in addition to expert colour advice for anyone considering a new look. Consultations are free of charge and there’s no need to book, just pop by! Former London Hairdresser of the Year Karine Jackson holds the prestigious L’Oreal Colour Specialist Degree, putting her in the top 1% of L’Oreal Colourists in the UK, but she now specialises in ammonia-free organic colouring about which she is hugely passionate. Karine uses Organic Colour Systems, and is a keen ambassador for eco friendly, ammonia free colour products. Her clients include actresses Rachel McDowall (Mamma Mia, The Producers), Shelley Conn (Mistresses, Marchlands, Terra Nova), and Neve Campbell, as well as BBC One Show presenter and renowned eco journalist Lucy Siegle, and presenter Sam Mann.
