‘Bite’ street food collective brings eats and beats to Chrisp Street on the last Friday of each month from 11am-3pm making it the perfect destination for Friday lunch-goers on the search for great value delicious cuisine.
Attended by some of London’s best street food vendors, the market plays host to a range of quality independent street food stalls, live music and a pop-up bar. There is also a table tennis and giant games – perfect for celebrating the end of a busy week.
August’s lip-smacking offerings include 100 per cent authentic cuisine from all corners of the world with vendors including Cat Food, Ate Street Food, La Boheme, Sticky Beaks and Bamboo. Visitors can sample some of the market’s delights for as little as £1.50 for a small dish, such as homemade chicken dumplings, with a main dish costing around £5. Tastes on offer at the market include Moroccan meatballs, Chinese, Thai and Malaysian pancakes, pulled pork sandwiches and homemade mini brioche with fillings such as paneer, ox cheek, pulled lamb and quinoa and bean.
The Bite street food market was launched as a hotspot for burgeoning food talent in East London and the event will be the second to take place following the official launch on 25 July. Located opposite All Saints station, the Bite street food market is only four minutes away from Canary Wharf on the DLR.
