Lunchtime Recital with soprano Olivia Doutney and pianist Will Fergusson

Soprano Olivia Doutney, praised for her ‘shimmering top’ and ‘creamy tone’, and pianist Will Fergusson, commended for his ‘virtuosity and charisma’, join again to perform their second recital of 2014. They will perform a programme of opera arias, art songs and piano music by 19th and 20th century composers, including Donizetti, Wolf and Copland. The programme explores a range of styles, from the Italian bel canto tradition, to the romanticism of German lieder, to the modern work of American composers, and more.
