In his lifetime, Lambert was considered a musical genius and the greatest ballet conductor and adviser this country has ever had. Yet, sixty years after his tragic death Constant Lambert is little known today. Stephen Lloyd examines every aspect of the career and life of this extraordinary man, including his long standing affair with Margot Fonteyn; and demonstrates to us why he deserves to be held in greater renown.
