The Blues Kitchen Set To Rock Around The Clock

To celebrate five years since The Blues Kitchen first threw open its doors to the music loving public of Camden, the venue is tuning-up for the world's longest continuous jam session. Kicking off at 12pm on Sunday 21st September the cherished live music hotspot will be aiming to serve up at least 48 hours of unbroken BBQ smeared Blues for a coveted place in the annals of rock history.

The hosts expect well over 100 amateur, professional and special guest musicians from around the UK to perform over the two day period and are putting a call out to the general public to dust off their Fenders, high-hats and harmonicas to get involved.

Every splash, riff and lick of the world record attempt will also be broadcast live through The Blues Kitchen's Facebook page, meaning that thousands of fans worldwide will be able to enjoy the jam from the comfort of their own home.

Over the years The Blues Kitchen Sunday Jam has become the go-to weekend indulgence for music loving Londoners and has amassed a dedicated roster of countless artists week-after-week.

The Blues Kitchen will be going all-out at the event to help the tireless talent achieve their goal, offering all participants free reign of their Southern style food and drink menu throughout the jam, as-well-as providing hammocks and earplugs for those who need to grab some much needed shut-eye. Signature ribs will be on offer for a lip smacking £5 to celebrate five years in the business and staff will also be dishing out free buffalo wings to peckish audience members in the small hours of the morning.

Intent on supporting the local community, The Blues Kitchen has also committed to donating £10 to the Kids Company for every jammer that steps on stage - providing practical, emotional and educational support to vulnerable inner-city children
