Painter JMW Turner was a regular visitor to Pitzhanger Manor in Ealing in the early 1800s, striking up a highly influential relationship with revered architect Sir John Soane. Like Soane, who designed his home Pitzhanger Manor, Turner also designed his own country retreat in west London.
Catherine Parry-Wingfield, Chair of Turner’s House Trust, provides an illuminating lecture on this productive friendship. This promises to be a fun and informative evening.
Doors and bar open at 6.30pm for 7pm start.
