Canon UK invites you to ‘Capture the Night’ in a special two day low-light photography experience. As the light fades, the event will come to life on Thursday 20th to Friday 21st November at Ely’s Yard, Truman Brewery in Shoreditch, East London. You will be able to experience capturing low-light photography in an urban setting.

The experience is inspired by Canon’s latest advertising campaign that collaborates with professional wildlife photographer Jamie Hall, showing his work capturing urban deer exploring residential streets close to Epping Forest, Essex. The event is part of Canon’s wider ‘Come and See’ campaign which invites people to look deeper at the world and to capture the enriching and captivating stories that unfold all around, every day.

Inspired by the latest campaign captured by Jamie, Canon has created custom-made urban deer that will be positioned in a range of locations around Ely’s yard for you to capture as darkness descends. The deer will take two bespoke forms that include clean graffiti and painted 3D models. The deer featured are being created by home-grown professional graffiti and street artists Graffiti Life. This creative team are based in Shoreditch and run their own contemporary gallery located in the area, at the heart of the London urban art scene.

During the experience, you will be able to capture the urban deer art forms from the roof of Canon’s ‘Capture the Night’ set at Ely’s Yard. Canon experts will be on hand to show you techniques for capturing low light photography. You can also take away your own print of your best shot from the experience using Canon’s printer range. If you take part in Canon’s experience you’ll also have the chance enter a competition to win a photography tutorial with Jamie Hall himself.

The experience ties in with Canon’s latest Winter Cashback offer that gives you up to £80* back from the purchase of a wide range of Canon products including DSLRs, lenses, compact cameras, camcorders and printers just in time for Christmas.
