A Spot of Bothy

An evening that promises to be weird and wonderful...

Terapia needs to raise in the region of £700,000 to begin work on a remarkable Victorian bothy in Finchley and make it 'fit for purpose'. This is proving a lot harder than initially thought. The building will be a new Centre of Excellence for Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy and Counselling, as well as a new home for their training. Ticket sales from A Spot of Bothy will nudge Terapia that bit closer to their goal.

An evening that promises to be weird and wonderful, will include short films by Russian and Czech animators, as well as graphic novel animation by brothers Tom and James Brown, accompanied by live scores performed by the multi-talented The Cabinet of Living Cinema ('lyrical, passionate and searching... impossible to forget'). Rising stars of comedy, Sarah Sheldon (shortlisted for Jewish Comedian of the Year 2014) and Nalika de Silva, who follows her sell-out show at the Camden Fringe, Me, Bill Nighy and the Goblin, the 'self-assured and smart' Chicago native, Cynthia Levin, and Funny Women Semi-Finalist 2014, Georgia Thorp, amongst others. Canapés will be provided by The Kitchen of Adina Oros, whose delectable preserves and Transylvanian delicacies have been garnering fans across Hackney and beyond.
