The Fierce and The Dead
"This is what would've happened if Philip Glass had ripped up his Fulbright scholarship at the kitchen table and said "Screw you Mom, I'm gonna start a garage band" - Demon Pigeon
Four piece instrumental noiseniks The Fierce and The Dead formed in 2010 for a one off recording project that turned into two albums, an e.p, a nineteen minute long single and live shows all over the U.K. The band's latest album, the critically aclaimed 'Spooky Action', was described by Rock-A-Rolla magazine as, "..post-hardcore bass tone; pulsing motorik drums; chiming, interlocking guitars somewhere between Afrobeat and Robert Fripp (and) shockingly brutal bursts of math-metal". The band, nominated for a Prog Award in 2013, have built up a reputation for frenetic live shows mixing intelligent rock music with garage band energy. Loud and not afraid to stand out The Fierce and The Dead are coming for you.
