The House of Ruinart is unlike any other and this is the occasion to sip Champagnes of extraordinary quality and elegance. Champagne Ruinart was the first Champagne House, established in 1729 and inspired by the foresight of a monk. Dom Ruinart was a Benedictine monk who had a conviction that “wine with bubbles” was the way forward. He instilled this vision into his nephew, Nicolas Ruinart, who founded Maison Ruinart twenty years after his uncle’s death and forever ingrained his uncle's name, and the house, in the history books.
