After the success of Rapunzel 2014 & Beauty and the Beast 2013, Saint Monica’s Players (SMP) return to the Intimate Theatre in 2015 with Aladdin.

Join Aladdin, Princess Jasmine and the rest of the gang in this fantastic adaptation of the much loved classic. Will Aladdin and Princess Jasmine find true love? Will the evil Abanazar win the day? Will anyone ever be able to pronounce his name? The only way to find out is by joining us at the show.

The show, directed by Luke Clow, promises to be a fun-filled family night out packed with great gags, stunning singing and dazzling dancing. The shows fantastic dance routines have been choreographed by Fiction Dance principle Jo Bakhurst and features songs from the 70’s right up to the current top 10 and even an original song written specifically for the show by Musical Director Mike Benyon.

Director Luke Clow said: “I’ve been involved in many shows with SMP and this is definitely one of our best. The energy coming from the cast in rehearsals is astounding, this show really is one not to miss”

Warren McWilliams who wrote the script and is playing Abanazar said: “I can’t wait to get onstage with this show, the cast are great and the team have done a fantastic job getting all the elements together. This is going to be a brilliant pantomime, oh yes it is!”
