Sublive at Hootananny has become a staple of the South London Live music scene. Playing host to a wide variety of sounds, all of which are suitable for shaking a leg too at the weekend. Benin City headline this line-up with their melting-pot combination of Hip Hop, Electronica, DnB & Soul. Joshua Idehen's unmistakeable vocals sits alongside Brass, Synths and fierce Drum work, all delivered with a characteristic energy that demands a lively audience response. 1st support comes in the form of Poppy Ajudha, performing her debut Sublive set. Expect modern Soul with South London sensibilities. Opening the show we welcome back singer/songwriter Josie Florence, playing a selection of original Jazz & Soul. As always SUBMIT resident DJs will be on hand to complete the show with an end of night rave-up (right through to kick-out time at 3am).
