Join Open-City for this afternoon journey down the River Thames as the sun sets and creative lighting dramatically re-enforces the night time presence of London's iconic landmarks.

Illuminated along the Thames embankments are Somerset House (Sir William Chambers/Dixon Jones), Tate Modern (Sir Giles Gilbert Scott/Herzog & de Meuron), Oxo Tower, Royal Festival Hall (Allies and Morrison refurbishment), Foster’s City Hall, Lasdun's National Theatre and The Shard to name a few.

Departing from Festival Pier, the tour will first go upstream taking in Battersea Power Station and Foster's Studio, before heading downstream past The Shard and under Tower Bridge (where a new illumination to mark the 2012 Olympics replaced the first significant illumination of 25 years), towards Docklands before ending back at Festival Pier.

Led by a specialist guide, an architect with an in-depth knowledge, providing excellent commentary.
