Vivid Launches The UK’s First Matcha Pop Up Bar In London

Bringing a buzz to Soho this Sunday is the launch of the UK’s first Matcha pop up Bar- brought to London by Vivid Drinks.

With matcha mania taking off in the UK following the launch of Vivid’s drinks last year, Vivid’s London based team is pioneering the ‘matcha movement’. Open this Sunday on Berwick Street, Londoners can enjoy a pick me up from Vivid’s organic matcha directly from Nishio, Japan – there will be a host of new concoctions on offer inspired by Vivid drinks, from Matcha Fizz to Vivid matcha shortbread with black sesame crust from Lily Vanilli and Matcha glazed doughnuts from London’s Crosstown doughnuts.

If the abundance of flavour wasn’t enough of a temptation, an array of London’s top spoken word talent will be performing. Plus the Vivid team will be holding ‘Mini Matcha Masterclasses’ to help customers learn all about the processes of the historical product.

James Shillcock the founder of Vivid Drinks said ‘Following the launch of our award winning matcha drinks last year matcha is booming in London so we wanted to provide a one-off space for the growing matcha community to celebrate all things Matcha. We will be running a kick-starter campaign shortly to open a permanent space so we look forward to meeting Londoners as passionate about matcha as we are!’
