LGBT history month, John Child, John Child, 2nd Earl Tylney tea party and find out about the history of Wanstead Park and its owners.
(The exhibition is free but donations requested for refreshments)

After the exhibition we ll have a pleasant tour in this hidden Park
Wanstead Park has been granted Grade II listed status by English Heritage in recognition of its historical significance and aesthetic quality. The park is one of the most popular East London attractions.
Wanstead Park is also renowned for its wonderful wildlife incorporating over 100 species of wildfowl, including coots, moorhens, great crested crebes and ducks. There is also a wide range of mammals, reptiles (including grass snakes, red eared terrapins and smooth newts), over 20 recorded species of butterflies and nearly 800 species of flowering plants. Wanstead Park is truly a nature lover’s paradise.

After our refreshing and exiting journey,we will finally head to the best local Gastro pub "The Duke of Wanstead" for their delicious Sunday lunch selection or roast ,followed up by a live music night.

Its a great, modern, neighbourhood pub with interesting selection of craft and International beers and partnerships with local brewers ,great Sunday lunch options and every Sunday different live music performers from 6 to 8 pm.
