A brand new sound from London, via the Mediterranean Sea, fronted by bass and saz player, singer, multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and producer Al-Maranca. His influences stem from the Mediterranean cultural identity from Morocco to Turkey, mixed with all the music influences he got through living in London, shaping his rather original fusion of Med, Middle East and West african music, funk, blues, rock, dub and more. The Round Coloured Note craft their unique blend of 'Med funk' and global grooves, adding a bit of Hendrix and Beatles' spice on top; resulting in something you never heard before. A captivating saz (turkish lute) driven rock 'n roll band, telling stories and painting music visions from past, present and future.
