Whether you’re looking for a new challenge or have a wedding or event coming up you would like to create your own stationery for, a Betty Etiquette creative workshop is just for you.

Covering skills including contemporary calligraphy, stationery design and paper craft, our workshops are accessible and fun introductions sessions that encourage you to find your own creative style.

Moving away from the formal traditional lettering you’d find on the bottom of a certificate, this workshop will teach you the basic skills and principles of calligraphy, then let you loose to tear up the rule book and create your own decorative writing style.

Popular in contemporary design, wedding stationery and advertising, stylised hand lettering continues to be a unique form of expression in a digital world full of screens.

Taught by Rebecca Cahill Roots, stationery designer and Creative Director of Betty Etiquette, Creative Calligraphy is a fun and accessible introductory session that will help you find your own creative style. We keep group sizes small to guarantee one-on-one support while you learn your new craft. It doesn't matter whether you're a budding Picasso, a complete beginner or feel you don't have a creative bone in your body - we promise you'll have a great time and leave with some examples of your handy work!

All equipment will be provided so you don't need to bring anything with you. The cost of the session includes a starter kit to use during the class and take away with you, plus some nibbles to keep your creative juices flowing. Make sure you have sleeves on that you can roll back.
