The Provoked Wife - theatre at The Hoxton Hotel

The Provoked Wife tells the outrageous story of one woman's quest to show an inattentive husband what he's missing.

This production will recreate the wit and glamour of Restoration theatre, staged in the wonderfully contemporary environs of The Hoxton Hotel.

Restoration Theatre was a revolution in its time, staged anywhere there was available space - from disused tennis courts to ancestral family homes. In bringing The Provoked Wife to The Hoxton, theatre company Go People is establishing a revival of this idea, hi-jacking Hoxton's wonderfully intimate and informal vibe to create a bespoke private theatre for the night.
