The Big Dig at Roof East

As part of “The Big Dig Day”, Roof East will be open to anyone interested in getting involved in planting and rooftop park spring cleaning on Saturday 21st of March 2015 between 8am and 5pm.

New shrubs and edible fruits will be planted, with experts on hand to give advice and guidance. Participant will also be able to visit the GrowUp Aquapoonics box on site, take part in free talks about Roof East project and enjoy spectacular views over the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park with complimentary cup of tea. The event aims to prepare the rooftop for the new season starting 1st of May this year. 2015 will see the return of the bar, outdoor cinema, a restaurant and a host of activities for both children and adults.
