Mother's Day Special: Guida de Palma

A versatile and impressive singer Guida’s love for music is visible in the energy and joy she instils in every performance. After achieving international recognition for her work with the Latin/Funk band “Da Lata” and with projects at the Club including her own brilliant “Jazzinho” in which she combines classic Brazilian rhythms with more contemporary music, we had to ask her back to perform a special Mother’s Day gig for us. Appearing this afternoon with her quintet, featuring Neil Angilley on piano, Nic France on drums and Davide Mantovani on bass, Guida will be performing a gentler set of jazz and popular Brazilian standards.
