Although scientists often seem like they know more than the rest of us, they don’t. Sometimes, when trying to find answers to the really big questions, they get stuck on the small stuff. Whether that’s how to sample microscopic organisms in African lakes to how to better diagnose depression.
ProblemAttic is a chance for you to help scientists with their everyday challenges; to test your lateral thinking and problem-solving skills. Coders, designers, makers, problem-solvers – whatever your personal or professional interests – come along and flex your brain during this interactive evening of dilemmas, discussion and drinking.
This event is run by the British Science Association. The British Science Association believes that science should be a part of – rather than set apart from – society and culture, and is owned by the wider community. Our programmes encourage people of all ages and backgrounds to engage with science, become ambassadors for science, and ultimately to be empowered to challenge and influence British science - whether they work in science or not.
