On Thursday 16th April TailSpin presents a rip-roaring night of stories and live music.

JONATHAN AND DAVID
with Tim Ralphs
God's chosen people cry out for a King so that they may be like the other nations of the Earth. An aged Prophet looks at his two sons and knows they are unworthy. And God knits the souls of two young men together, binding them in a love that will rip apart families and stain the hills with blood. Mixing biblical sacred love with stories from the lives of gay people of faith, join Tim Ralphs as he asks some questions about the divine nature of sexuality.

Tim Ralphs (British Award for Storytelling Excellence Winner 2012) is one of the most exciting talents of the UK storytelling scene. His work is mature, complex and innovative. In 2012 he was commissioned by the Hidden Perspectives festival to develop a retelling of the story of Jonathan and David.

Music from THE RELATIVES - a five piece band who "turn everyday life into folk legend". Richard Guard and Anna Crockatt formed the band when a drunken conversation revealed that they were cousins (their granddads are brothers!) Ever since, they have been hosting the Relatively Good Radio Show on Resonance FM every Sunday at 3pm. Wild, funny and fabulous!

Plus short stories from CAT GERRARD and more... And there will be cake.

Reservation recommended - please arrive by 7.25pm.
