Many people struggled to decide who to vote for this election - should you go tactical, should you vote for policies, should you vote at all?

It is more clear than ever that our voting system and democracy doesn't allow people the voice or choices it should. But what can you do about it?

Join our free post-election debate on Saturday 6 June where we'll be joined by a panel who will share their ideas on ways people can really have a say in politics.

To get the conversation started, we'll hear from:

- Darren Hughes, Deputy Chief Executive of the Electoral Reform Society who has served across three parliaments in New Zealand, a country which has had proportional representation for around 20 years

- Adekali Turay, member of Let's Talk About it, a group of young Londoners who want to talk about all the issues of life from a new perspective: bringing you emotion, fun and serious social issues through short films and discussions

- Maria Margaronis, journalist and broadcaster for The Nation, Guardian and BBC who has been reporting on the crisis in Greece and Europe from both the left and far right

- Chris Murray, Director of Core Cities on devolution of power from London to main cities

There'll also be a chance for everyone to discuss ideas.

Who should come?

The event is free, and everyone is welcome. We want this debate to involve anyone, whatever your politics. Because whether you vote Tory, Labour, Lib Dem, UKIP, Green, or you don’t vote at all – whether you’re a libertarian, socialist, capitalist, anarchist, or whatever your political ideas, the current state of politics in the UK affects you.
