Join us this weekend as the Budweiser Budvar Beer Tent returns to Stoke Newington Literary Festival as part of our 120th Anniversary, serving up a free programme of music & spoken word entertainment; plus some tasty pints of our signature Original Budvar beer to enjoy. Open on Saturday 6th June at William Patten School and Sunday 7th June outside Stoke Newington Town Hall; experience our ‘no shortcuts’ policy & savour a glass of Original pale lager alongside the series of special performances.

By far and away the best-known beer in the Budvar family, Budvar Original is crafted from local, natural materials and carefully selected grains of Moravian barley in a 102 day brewing cycle. Brewed for 12 days and then matured for 90 days with no shortcuts, just the way our master brewer intended. Alongside an extraordinary tasting beer, our Budvar Beer Tent line up features performances from; John Moore, guitarist from The Jesus and Mary Chain, Pete Astor from The Weather Prophets, British musician Andy Diagram and the Bikini Beach Band as well as a number of local poets.

A 700-year long tradition of brewing Budějovice beer and a unique 90-day long maturing period amplifies the Original lager’s uniqueness even more, producing a mild or medium-strong bitterness lager for your taste buds to savour. So, be part of the taste sensation and raise a glass to celebrate 120 years of Budweiser, in the Budvar Beer Tent this weekend at Stoke Newington Literary Festival!
