Outdoors

The creators of the UK’s number one cinema experience, Rooftop Film Club, will be setting up their giant outdoor screen in the park.

We are running a Silent Disco beneath the trees in the Grove with DJs playing a variety of sets to cater for every taste. There are nine sessions bookable by genre ranging from kids’ classics in the morning, to rave anthems in the evening with everything else in between.

Two stages will play host to live music acts all day as well as pop-up theatre events taking place throughout the park. There will be plenty of opportunities for the community to get involved with performances, sports days and craft activities for all ages.

Indoors

The Palace itself will be opening its unseen areas to the public for History Tours. Visitors will be invited to view the lesser-known parts of the historic building such as the Victorian Theatre and the original BBC studios. This will be one of the last opportunities to see these areas before our regeneration works begin.

Our famous Grand Will Organ will be taking centre stage at our Prom in the Palace performance in the Great Hall.

This year marks the 25th anniversary of our iconic ice rink and we are celebrating with a special gala event showcasing the art of ice skating. Members of the public are also invited to cool off on the ice and demonstrate their talents throughout the day.

Food and Drink

In addition to the events and activities, we are holding our popular Street Food and Craft Beer Festival serving a range of well-known and local street food plus some of the best beer and cider on offer in the capital. Local craft breweries will provide some favourites and a few special editions to sample in London’s largest outdoor beer garden.
