Iain Matthews and Egbert Derix

Iain Matthews and Egbert Derix have been writing, recording and touring together for more than ten years now. Matthews claims it's the best musical partnership he's ever had.

The culmination of two years worth of writing and a brave leap forward in both sound and composition for the duo, together with a new persona.

Their second album together, ' IN THE NOW ', was released in February 2014, on the Fledgling label. Comfortably their best offering to date. Featuring nine stunning new songs, including 'Pebbles in the road', an autobiographical epic, described recently as Matthew's 'My way'.

Live, the pair plan to present an interchangeable combo sound, depending on the venue.

Employing duo, trio and quartet lineups, with possibly even strings for the very special occasions.

Iain and Egbert are at the top of their game and far more than just pebbles in the road.
