From music to fashion to art, Camden is London's epicentre of creativity. Join 'Mike the Mod' to explore the area on foot, while he shares first-hand knowledge of the local music scene from Brit Pop to reggae to the late Amy Winehouse, as well as what it was like to be one of just 300 people at Prince's intimate Electric Ballroom gig in 2014. Mike will also point out the home of James Bond (aka Daniel Craig), take you up Primrose Hill and down again to the Regents Canal, where his busker friend Roots might just do a reggae set for you.
This is one of six itineraries from Unseen Tours, an award-winning, not-for-profit social enterprise that offers alternative walking tours through London's most vibrant and interesting neighbourhoods, led by homeless and formerly homeless guides, including Mike.
As well as winning a Responsible Tourism Award and an Observer Ethical Award, tours get excellent reviews on Tripadvisor and offer a unique insight into London life - while giving visibility and a voice to people who often feel unseen and unheard.
