RCM Head of Woodwind Simon Channing conducts the RCM Wind Ensemble in an entertaining programme which includes an arrangement of Ravel’s Mother Goose Suite and Beethoven’s Octet in E flat major. The rich sound of the saxophone is featured in Warren Benson’s Aeolian Song and the music of up-and-coming composer and RCM alumna Charlotte Harding is explored in her piece for wind ensemble, Bright Lights.
