Inspired by Emma Peel, the catsuited, karate-chopping heroine of surreal and stylish 1960s TV show The Avengers, Mrs Peel’s is a celebration of London’s most cool, creative, confident and playful decade. This time we present a special summer boat party, travelling up and down the Thames. Enjoy a free gin and tonic courtesy of SW4 gin as you wait to embark (we leave at 8pm sharp!) then imagine you’re sunbathing on the deck of a yacht in St Tropez as the psychedelic party swirls around you.
Your host Count Indigo will give a live performance with his new lounge groove trio, and there will be freakbeat and movie soundtrack DJing from the Psychedelic Milkman, go-go dancing from our specially created troupe Catsuit A-Go-Go, Bardot-esque burlesque from Trixie Malicious, displays of nautical masculinity from tongue-in-cheek dance team The Action Men, mind-expanding lighting effects and more. There is an optional barbecue meal available as well.
"Thank God! There really aren't enough clubs that you can wear a catsuit to!" — Jerry Hall
