'Ingress' is a game played by millions of people across the world in an amazing massive multiplayer online game that requires you to roam around to capture and control areas of the real world.

There are thousands of players in London, split into two teams. On Saturday, 5 September, we host an event called 'Ingress First Saturday' - one of hundreds across the world - designed to bring old and new players together for a lot of fun battling for control of the area.

All you need is your smartphone, and an interest in taking part in a secret battle for the fate of all humanity! It really is a great way to encourage yourself to explore London (and beyond), and to get involved in a friendly and social game that has no equal.
