This autumn the world’s most popular toy will bring families closer to nature at London Wetland Centre. The giant LEGO brick-animal trail will be here for five weeks from 3 October to 8 November, with the sculptures sitting among some of their real-life cousins.

The awesome models, which include a giant otter and a huge twelve-times life-size dragonfly, will form a trail for kids (and big kids) to inspire them to build a better future for nature.

Visitors will be able to enjoy the trail of nine individually-designed 1.5m LEGO brick animals, some inspired by real species at London Wetland Centre. Included are an Hawaiian goose (the world's rarest goose), a red breasted goose, a mallard and a large North American River Otter. By following the trail to discover how many LEGO bricks have been used to make the animals visitors can also enter a competition to win their own LEGO kits.

There is no extra cost to meet the giant LEGO brick animals at London Wetland Centre, the trail is included in the admission price.

Throughout October and November we will be running three workshops every weekend and daily during the half term holiday (24 Oct – 1 Nov). Build your own LEGO brick pumpkin to take home and create as many ducklings as you can in 10 minutes. The workshops should be pre-booked and cost £8.50 per person.
