Following a successful sell out show at The Dugdale, Shirley E. Mason, aka. Cuban Redd, returns with her original play inspired by the life and music of Will Smith – 'The Other One'. Examining the issues of contemporary mental health, the play explores the world as a pressure cooker of people bubbling away until the 'water of well-being' dries out and then there's an explosion… or not as the case may be. All the pressures that impact on individuals to create turmoil in their lives. Some self-inflicted, some mistakes, some victimisations and some 'just the system doing its thing'!
